Flexible multi spindle for no rotary bar for oil-hydraulic components and other components.

Machinery extremely productive if compared to a classic multi spindle lathe, especially for long and slim pieces.

Compared to a classic multi spindle, there is no "low" limit in the number of revolutions. The machine is managed by CNC (numerical control), the tools are independent from each other; in the basic machine the spindles have a maximum speed of 8000 rpm, which can be optionally increased to 12.000 rpm.

The compact Picchi multi spindle produces details starting from an extruded bar, not only circular or hexagonal, but also with complex forms.
Inside it are integrated the following Picchi modules:

  • Configurable bar loader for bar with a length of 3 or 6 m
  • Bar feeder
  • Integrated cutter
  • Separator of bar tail and head
  • 12 drilling/boring operating units UFE 125/40
  • 6 operating units with electronic recess UFME 125/eR for workpiece turning
  • Unloading pieces
  • Tele-service: Systems of  Remote maintenance and / or Tele diagnosis and / or remote control systems.
  • Predisposition according to the requirements of the “Industry 4.0”: Interconnection to the IT systems, monitoring of the work conditions and of the process parameters, adaptive control to the drifts of the process, etc.

The machinery thought for the oil-hydraulic components made of carbon steel or stainless steel , has sufficiently flexibility to be used in different sectors such as pneumatic and hydraulic fittings, electrical connectors, components for fluids in the automotive sector, etc.

In case of use of polycrystalline tools or tools in natural diamond for light alloys it is possible to require the hydrostatic sustenance option.

The machinery is equipped with probe to measure the external room temperature and the temperature inside the machine for the management of the thermoregulation, with the aim to improve the thermal stability of it.

The production island can be re-tooled in a time going from 5 to 50 minutes with the options of rapid and completed re-tooling.

The new constructive solutions with HP “High performance and Low maintenance” units which, in addition to guarantee optimal characteristics of rigidity and precision, allow limited, easy and rapid maintenance interventions.

The Direct-drive rotary table allows to tear down the cycle times obtaining finished pieces also with complex geometries and machining, maintaining a high degree of precision.
