From 9-11 June, Picchi took part in the MECSPE fair in Bologna. An important international event completely dedicated to the manufacturing industry, where every year you can see and touch innovations in the sector.
In Picchi’s case, the fair was an ideal opportunity to show the multi-spindle machining centre Chrono and the virtual reality. A space inside the stand was completely dedicated to this aspect, currently important in the company’s production.
Augmented Reality today takes concrete form in a company like Picchi, which has always focused on innovation and Industry 4.0.
In fact, Augmented Reality was the protagonist during the fair, where visitors were allowed to try out smart glasses for virtual reality, through which they could see the multi-spindle machining centre Chrono from outside to inside, the main movements of the machine, such as table rotation, B axis rotation, tool change, recess head, 5th axis, complete with automation.
A veritable journey in discovery of this machine, one of the company’s core products.
